Potential is what you could be — a sealed capacity sitting still. Potentiality is the increase of potential: capacity being enlarged while it is being used. She begins capable and exercises that capability, because what she has to work with is an opportunity. The Architect becomes competent by equipping herself with tools, armor, intellect and lands, and she becomes an opportunist. The Sovereign becomes capacious — roomy, built to hold more than is presently in her — she enlarges her capacity and her connection, and what she holds are opportunities she now creates for herself and for other women.
