Day 7 · Law of Increase

The Law of the

Plenty

Plenty is not a pile. It is a supply that keeps arriving. Exhale, then envelope, then ebb.

There is a law that governs supply, and it is not the law of saving. It is the law of Plenty.

Plenty is not a pile. A pile can be counted, guarded, and lost. Plenty is a supply that keeps arriving. The woman who believes in a pile hoards it and calls that wisdom. The woman who knows plenty breathes it out, because the ocean she draws from does not notice what she took.

Day 5 and Day 6 add to Day 7. Poise held her weight so evenly that nothing spilled. Potential cleaned the vessel. Add them and you get Plenty, because a clean vessel, held steady, is the only thing an ocean can safely fill.

She goes from calm, to cool, to collected. And the order of the work is the mercy: she exhales first. If she tries to envelope first — to take a thing in, wrap it, carry it — before she has breathed out, that is panic. Exhale, and there is room. Then she envelopes. Then, at the sovereign level, she learns to ebb, which is the flow itself, and she no longer needs to exhale and envelope as separate acts because both are already inside the ebbing.

What she draws from is the ocean: continual, unbothered, always more. What she becomes is oxygen, the fuel other people breathe — which is why cool is not coldness. She can breathe, so she can envelope a thing without suffocating it. And what she increases in business is oceans: Pacific, Atlantic, all the water and everything living in it, every shell and every resource that washes in on a tide she did not have to manufacture.

"I am calm, cool and collected. I exhale, I envelope, I ebb — and what I hold is oceans."
