The Workshop · Day 24

Tools for The Law of Passion

Tools of passion — an OUT day. Every instrument here is measured by one question: did it ease anything for anybody? Feeling that eases nothing is sentiment, not compassion.

Practice

The Easing Test

Before each action today ask: what does this make lighter, cheaper, shorter or possible for someone? If the answer is nothing, change the action.

If it is not easing, it is not compassionate. Passion lands in someone's hands or it did not happen.

Ledger

The Offering In Hand

List what you were already given — from another, from your own labour, from God. Circle one and hand it on today.

She does not have to invent her offering. She has to notice it and pass it along.

Instrument

The Entreaty

Write one earnest ask on behalf of someone who cannot ask yet, and send it to a person with the power to say yes.

One who cares will entreat. Easing is the hand; entreating is the voice.

Table

The Offer, Not The Offering

Two columns: what I have to give, and what I am. Write the second column in first person and read it aloud.

There is a real difference between having an offering and being the offer. Today she learns which she is.

Practice

The Empathy Read

Choose one client, ally or family member. Write the day from inside their position — what it costs them — then change one term you offer.

Empatheia is feeling into. Understanding that changes nothing was only sympathy.

Ledger

The Charitable Line

Set a standing portion — money, hours or seats — that leaves the house every cycle without being asked for.

Charitable is structural, not occasional. A house that gives on schedule gives without her in the room.

Ledger

The Offerings Count

Revisit your Day 22 outlay. Write every offering that has come back through the hands you eased — many, from many directions.

The Fibonacci sum of this day: outlay laid down on Twenty-Two returns as offerings, plural.

Word

The Word Study

Compassionate · Ease · Offering — through Caring · Entreat · Offer into Charitable · Empathize · Offerings.

Study the words and you can wield them.
