How the stone came to be

Kyanite grows in blades. Its name comes from kyanos — blue — and it forms in long flattened crystals with perfect cleavage running down their length, which is why it has two hardnesses: soft one way, hard the other. It is a stone with a grain, and a grain is a direction. Things move along it.

It is born of passage. Kyanite is a metamorphic mineral: it appears where clay-rich rock has been carried deep into the earth and pressed under high pressure until it becomes something else. Geologists read it as a marker — where kyanite stands, they know the conditions the rock passed through. It is literally the record of a transition.

And it is the one stone traditionally said never to need cleansing. It does not accumulate. Whatever passes through it, passes through — which is the whole doctrine of an OUT day. It is not a vessel to be filled. It is a channel, and a channel is only useful while something is crossing it.

What it is carried for

 • The great stone of communication — carried for truthful, clear speech, and for saying the hard thing kindly.
 • Held as a bridge stone: said to open a passage between two people, two ideas, or two parts of a life that have stopped speaking.
 • Traditionally worn for alignment — the blades are said to bring the whole into agreement, which is oneness in mineral form.
 • Said to never hold negativity, because nothing stays in it; it is a conduit, not a container.

As you live this law, you become this stone

The jewel is not a souvenir. Every element of Blue Kyanite is an element you gain as you walk the Law of the Passage — not by admiring the stone, but by living it until you are made of the same thing.

You gain · Grain and direction

Kyanite is soft along the blade and hard across it. Living Passage, you gain a direction: easy to move with, immovable across the purpose. Exchange flows one way; your center does not.

You gain · The channel, not the vessel

It is the stone said never to need cleansing, because nothing lodges in it. You become communicative without becoming crowded — what comes in goes out edified.

You gain · The record of transition

Geologists read kyanite to know what the rock passed through. You become a woman whose speech is evidence of where she has been — conversant because she was pressed, not because she read about it.

You gain · Blades that align

It grows in fanned blades that all lie one way. As you edify, the parts of your life stop arguing: woman, household and business speak one common language, and that is oneness.

A jewel fit for a king — and a queen

Smile when you read this, because it is about you. A rough stone is not set in a crown; a cut one is. As you become and develop through this program you are being cut, warmed and polished into a jewel fit for a king and for a queen — and the joy of it is that you get to enjoy the stone you are turning into.

And you become your business. What you are made of shows up in your pricing, your rooms, your table, your people and your work. She does not have a brand — she has a nature, and everything she touches reflects it.
