The stone read as the word

Moldavite was made in seconds. A meteorite struck what is now Bohemia, melted the ground, and threw it into the air; the droplets cooled mid-flight into green glass and fell in a single strewn field. There is no mine that can make more of it.

Its whole surface is a record of speed — pits and channels formed while it was still soft. Clever works this way: it is quick, it is shaped by the moment, and it leaves a texture that a slow method never would.
