Jewel of the Day

The stone she gains by living this law

Tiger's Eye

Tiger's Eye is the stone of Personality. It began as fine parallel fibers of blue asbestos, and silica exchanged itself for every fiber one at a time — the stone became quartz and kept the recipe of what it had been. That preserved structure is what makes chatoyancy: a single silky band of gold that slides across the stone as you turn it. Not paint, not polish — interior arrangement, showing. Traditionally carried for confident presence, clear seeing, honest trade and abundance; the stone that shines while it watches, and teaches that an element may be exchanged and the thing become more valuable, not less.

Celestial Law

Live this law well — daily, quietly, without applause — and it begins to work on your behalf. Everything you touch turns golden, as a queen over a kingdom that is growing.

"I am colorful becoming chatoyant becoming copious. I emit, I emanate, I exchange — and my house is an outpouring."

INTELLECT · Day 12

The Law of the Personality

Presentation comes first. Personality is the recipe — and output is the other side of the equation.

You would think Day 11 was personality — originality, shining, the one-of-one. It is not. Presentation comes before personality. You must learn to present yourself before you are permitted to shine with personality, or the shine has nothing to stand on.

The personality of a thing is its recipe. That is the whole secret of this law. Output is the other side of the equation from recipe: what goes in as ingredients comes out as flavor. So the Adventure CEO begins colorful — she emits, and what she has to work with is output. Output is preparatory to outcome. It is the recipe by which you get what you want to have, and she will need it for Day 13.

The Architect CEO becomes chatoyant — brilliance with a mind behind it, one band of light moving across the stone as she turns. She no longer has to emit; she emanates. Shining is not effort now, it is nature. And what she works with is outflow: the recipe running, continuously, out of what she is.

The Sovereign CEO is copious, and she exchanges. This is not self-expression — that belongs to the sixteenth day, and she does not know it yet. Copious is about exchange: all the beautiful colors flowing and trading one for another. Put salt in and the recipe changes. So the outpouring goes both ways, in and out, and she learns which color to give for which.

Colorful becomes chatoyant becomes copious. Emit becomes emanate becomes exchange. Output becomes outflow becomes outpouring. That is the perfect recipe.

Today's Exercise

Write the recipe of one thing you make. Three ingredients in, one flavor out — name them plainly. Then exchange one ingredient: take something out, put something in, and deliver it to one person today. Write down what changed in the flavor, and what came back to you.
