The stone read as the word

Chatoyant comes from the French for cat's eye. The line is made of millions of parallel hollow tubes inside the crystal, all reflecting one narrow band of light; move the stone and the eye opens and closes. It is presence you can watch travel.

Cut as a cabochon and oriented exactly, or there is no eye at all. Charisma has an axis.

What it is carried for

  • Carried for the woman who is noticed when she moves.
  • Held for the shine that only appears in motion.
