Jewel of the Day
The stone she gains by living this law
Nephrite Jade
The unbreakable stone — the toughest gem material known, felted fibres that dent rather than shatter; worked into axes and war clubs for thousands of years and carried for courage, endurance, protection and longevity.

Live this law well — daily, quietly, without applause — and it begins to work on your behalf. Everything you touch turns golden, as a queen over a kingdom that is growing.
"I am courageous becoming challengeable becoming cheveril. I endeavor, I encounter, and I embolden — and occasion becomes overcomings in my hands."

The Law of the Prowess
Day 20 · The Law of Prowess · The Close of the Intellect
Day Twenty is the last day of the Intellect — the season that began on Day Eleven — and it segues straight into Intuitiveness. Everything the mind gathered is now handed to the nerve, because knowing a thing and doing it are two different women.
The Adventure CEO is courageous, and how she moves is to endeavor — she is trying, attempting, having a go. And she can endeavor because she has an occasion: a moment, an opening, a day that presents itself. No occasion, no attempt.
The Architect becomes challengeable — a woman who can be met, tested and taken on, and does not fold when she is. Endeavor matures into encounter: she stops merely attempting and starts meeting the thing face to face. What she becomes is an overcomer. Jump the hurdles or walk around them — either way, you are over.
The Sovereign becomes cheveril — kid leather. Supple, pliable, worked soft, and it will not tear. Deep roots underneath, so she knows how to encounter, how to withstand the winds and the storms. From that leather she emboldens — she puts courage into other people — and what she is increasing is overcomings, plural: a ledger of what has already been beaten, each one making the next one smaller.
Today's Exercise
Name the one occasion in front of you today and endeavor into it before the feeling arrives. Take one encounter face to face instead of postponing it. Find where you are brittle — the one place you snap instead of stretching — and name the root that is missing there. Then embolden one woman out loud, and write down the overcoming you can already count.
