Sunstone
Feldspar carrying thousands of microscopic copper or hematite platelets suspended inside the crystal, all lying on the same planes, so the whole stone flashes coppery gold when it is turned toward light — the effect called schiller or aventurescence. Oregon sunstone is coloured by pure copper. Carried by Norse navigators as the solarsteinn to find the sun through an overcast sky, and traded in Greece as a stone of the sun god. Kept for optimism, cheer, vitality, benevolent leadership and good fortune — the giving half of the old sun-and-moon pair.

The Law of the Positivity
Day 18 · An OUT day — the outlook drawn in on the seventeenth is spent out loud here
This is an OUT day. The seventeenth drew the outlook in; the eighteenth spends it. Positivity is a law, not a mood — it works the way gravity works, whether or not she feels it that morning. The Adventure CEO is cheerful, and her execution is to expect: not to wait, but to move the thing forward with expectation. What she has to work with is optimism — the White Sword, a bright blade that conquers. The Architect becomes cheery, cheerful by definition rather than by effort, and her execution rises from expecting to enthusing: to breathe spirit into a thing until others can feel it. Simply by stepping into that layer she becomes an optimist, wielding the same White Sword with a house behind it. The Sovereign becomes companionate — a perfect companion to her friends, to herself, to God, to the King — and her execution is to enliven: she gives life to what she touches. What she increases moves from optimism, to being an optimist, to optimums: the most favourable conditions, made on purpose, plural.
Today's Exercise
Write one line this morning naming the good outcome you are expecting today, stated as already coming — that is the White Sword. Then enthuse one person on purpose: one sentence of real spirit into their plan. Before you leave any room today, ask what would make it the optimum for everyone in it and change one thing. In the evening, name the one dead thing you enlivened.
