The stone read as the word

Oregon sunstone holds actual metallic copper inside it. Turn the stone and the flakes catch, one after another, so it seems to spark from the inside. Nothing was added; the light was already stored in it.

Cheerfulness works exactly this way. It is not a performance for the room — it is stored light released by motion, and everyone standing nearby gets some of it.
